Emergency Aid (4 hours)

In certain situations, an employer may not require a qualified first aider but in these cases there must be a person or persons appointed to look after first aid equipment and to take charge of an emergency until a more qualified person arrives.  The Health and Safety Executive recommends that "Emergency Aid" training is made available to appointed persons.

This course covers:
-    Introduction to Health and Safety at Work
-    Action in an emergency
-    Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
-    Management of an unconscious casualty
-    Control of bleeding and management of wounds

Our open sessions for Hilary Term 2008 will be publicised shortly.

Please click here to register your interest, advising the names of delegates you wish to have trained.

Cost: £30.00 per person.

Please note that we require a minimum of six delegates to run one of these "open" training sessions.

In-house courses can be arranged at a mutually-convenient time and held either at our location or, subject to suitable facilities being available, at your site - please click here to arrange a suitable four-hour training session.
